Her Highness is who again? Queen of the Damned? Mistress of the Night? She-Ogre of the the Underworld? Or just some daft dame with one lousy lizardman minion?
How on earth did you see that?! Do you look at every webcomic you read upside down just in case there’s hidden stuff? (If so, then good, that means I can stop, as long as I know somebody is checking)
Oh, I don’t know about “new ground”… it’s a very quotable movie, and I think that every time I’ve quoted it or seen it quoted, there’s been other people besides me who got the reference. The fact that you got it is a case in point. So congratulations back to you for getting it.
(P.S. I’m so used to seeing your name given as “mvandinter”, I never noticed till just now that you have the same first name as me — though mine is spelt with two T’s.)
Surely what follows is a montage of the capture of the entire population of the city, one by one, until someone suitable is found.
Which then accidentally fulfills some ancient prophesy about having a new minion who is incredibly strong and loyal, but also very stupid.
NoneCallMeTim, thanks to you I have no more secrets!
If you take panel 2 and turn it upside-down “stable boy” has a completely different face!!! Like the young woman or old lady illusion. 😀
Holy cow, that’s creepy. I don’t know how I managed to do that.

Looks kinda like a goblin with black eyes, a square nose, teeth showing, a beard and a cowl on his head
He makes such a compelling argument to be released from the bag
He does indeed! That stableBOY’s a real charmer. I’m sure the horses love him;-)
“Her Highness is who again?”
Why, the Queen of the Silurians, of course!
“Let me out of this sack and I’ll beat you!”
Don’t you mean “Let me out of this sack OR I’ll beat you”? That seems like a pretty crucial conjunction.
Dr. Who references are a staple of the Interwebs… BUT I think you’re breaking new ground with the Emperor’s New Grove reference. Congratulations 😉
