Maybe it’s from watching a lot of British television (starting with Monty Python and Dr. Who), but I was already familiar with the first two meanings of ‘mucking about’. Only ‘3. to draw a weekly web comic’ was new to me. 😉
Yep! I’m with you on that.
Exactly how is 3 not redundant? (Although a special case.) Mucking about myself, looking for new comics both interesting and not requiring intense study or specialized, arcane knowledge. So far you pass on all three requirements: art, dialogue, story pacing.
How is 3 not redundant? I ask myself that question every single day.
