  1. Scarsdale says:

This butt-munching dirt-grubber has the tactical sense of a butter-ball turkey. He thinks everyone is way dumber than him (which isn’t saying much for the “fearless” commander) and a simple show of force will control the masses. IF he was successful, all it would do is make Charlie want to stab him in the junk asap!

    • Mathew Van Dinter (author) says:

As for the author drawing junk being stabbed… don’t get your hopes up 😉

      • Scarsdale says:

Heheheh… I know, but it does make a good mental image! As you can tell I do not like that type of a person, I’ve met too many in my life and I do not wish them well, just well hurt…

  2. F
    Frank says:

I’m not sure he understand either Godfrey or Charlie.

    And Alice is still out there. Duhhhh-dum. Duhhhhhh-dum. Duh-dum duh-dum duh-um. Bumbumbummmmmmmm!

    • Scarsdale says:

He clearly thinks they will cower before his superior intellect and mastery of command… yeah right. |To him, they are just stuffed shirts that can’t rub two brain cells together. He said as much before, ignoring the fact that these stuffed shirts built a machine that is supposedly impossible, traveled many miles straight down, survived a breakdown, traveled to his base on foot, but they can’t match HIS special intellect. Sigh… I had bosses that were like that, dumbest bunch of idiots…
THIS moron is so bad he’s coping his bosses habit of stuffing a hand in his shirt, never mind the poor man had an ulcer the size of Texas…

    • Mathew Van Dinter (author) says:

Alice! Right! I almost forgot about her!

  3. Thorfinn says:

How has that guy stayed in power for 10 – 15 – 20 years*, if he has no more sense of people’s motivation and character than that? Those soldiers of his must be a rather sorry bunch to put up with him.
*I don’t remember if we were given a date on when they went underground, but we are at least 10 years after the end of the Napoleonic wars

    • mvandinter says:

People in positions of power are often conniving sociopaths. Just saying.

    • Scarsdale says:

The actual leaders were drown in the flood, it was a military outfit after all. He’s just the highest ranking survivor. He clearly is NOT fit to command, but is the only one with enough rank to try. Clearly he knows it and is trying to act the part as HE thinks he should, not like a real leader would. The rest (with a few exceptions) were just the one’s that ran away, leaving the rest to die.
