I’m joking, they’re by and large a fine people. They’ve just had a . . . colorful history with their neighbors. And linguistic minorities. And religious minorities. No more so than mot and bit less than some.
How come Edger, or “Eger” as it’s pronounced in MIB, is so big? He’s even bigger then the two escorts with Alice and Dult. This is a strange place, this underworld. Oh, Happy New Year Matt, and thanks for the new page.
Not too sensational theory 1) “Brother” is used as “the brotherhood of (whatever their kind is), not necessarily having the same parents. Along those lines, all in a tribe of clan, where the nuclear family is not so important, call each other brother (amongst the males).
Not too sensational therory 2) a) they are a fairly long lived species, b) they continue to grow in adulthood, and c) Awger is significantly older than Dult.
Oh, and on names, Alice totally mucked up Awger’s name at the end there. :p
Ah yes. This brings us back some. Seems the…lack of sharpness…among this race was not just the queen’s henchman from waaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the beginning.
Egad indeed.
The French continuing to make friends.

Oh look, a puppy!
Most. Something.
I am extremely offended…at you use of puppies.
I’d just like to say that not once on this comic page does the word “French” appear!
Also, Look! Kittens!
Kitties!

There is a reason that they’re dissimilar in size and shape… but I’m more-than-open to reader theories.
I think it has something to do with “We were . . .” 🙂
He is a one-body-fits-all?
Are you saying he’s a blow-up doll?
I was more saying that he shrank so that he would ‘fit’ the person he took over. Like he somehow ‘absorbed’ the captain and now he is captain-sized
You know me too well, Thorin. You have the whole thing figured out, Damn You! 😉

Edsger Dijkstra was a giant among men, so …
So was Andre The Giant.
How did I miss that? The clue was right there in the name!

Waaaaaaaaaay is a long way… but it’s making a comeback in the menu tabs at the top of the page.
I don’t know. I lie this format. But if it’s what you need to do, it’s what you need to do.
LIKE this format. I LIKE it. I don’t lie it.
The format here is a book format, as I once dreamed of getting Unearth published.
Fingers crossed.
If you need a book designer, I work cheap and use a spell checker.
Thanks for the offer, Frank! Unless you’re a publisher too, I don’t know what I would do with the book once you designed it.
That is more than a fair point. Sorry.
Self publish with lulu.com!
Book One of Unearth concludes with the end of Chapter 6… And currently we’re on Chapter… OMG! I’m never going to finish this thing!
If it helps we’re enjoying the ride.
Alice seems to be more comfortable than she was when she woke up. I guess the shock has lessened.
Well, it has been several months since she woke up. That was all the way back on July 1st.
Ooh! Lots of time for a nice hot cup of tea.
