And (amazingly) all three have their shoes on! This of course, is further evidence that the house is suffering from (blessed with?) TARDIS syndrome.
From the fact that Alice got lost, I mean. not that there are three Charlottes… although…. hmmmm…..
Is “TARDIS syndrome” and official thing?
Oh Yes, It occurs in lots of places, not just comics. Any building that somehow, through drawing, or other siuation, that displays one (or both) of the following conditions is suffering from TARDIS syndrome:
1. The interiror does not appear to conform to the exterior
2. The characters consistently get lost. (except during an emergency, when the characters inexplicably arrive JUST IN TIME to do whatever they need to do, no matter how far away that particular room might be)
Don’t call her Charlotte, it’s CHARLIE!
Yeah! The author should respect his characters’ wishes!
Hmm, good idea, Charlie! It could be useful having a ghost with you when fighting for survival in the center of the earth…
OK. I’m willing to hear your argument.
Here’s a scenario: Alice vs. Allosaurus. Add one ghost. Go!
Ghost: ooooooohh! oooooooohhh! BOOO!
Allosaurus: (looks at ghost quizzically)
Alice: POW! (the sound of her punching an Allosaurus)
Allosaurus: Yipe! yipe! yipe! (runs away holding his nose)
Either that or, who knows, perhaps dinosaurs are deathly afraid of ghosts? Like elephants and mice?
But really I was thinking more of cavemen, lizard people, frenchmen, etc. who probably have ghosts of their own and would be more likely to be superstitious or afraid of them.
Or perhaps for comedy relief. Every comic needs comedy relief! 🙂
What about a Ghost from Destiny? Will that work? As long as you don’t let him hack anything. If he does he’ll set off an alarm.
Sadly “Ghost from Destiny” is not on Urban Dictionary, without which I’m utterly unable to decipher what you kids are talking about 😉
That makes two of us, oh well. As an aside, I’ve been wondering ever since I started reading this story, Is your avatar VIN-CENT from “The Black Hole”?
It’s actually a logo I designed, but only now do I see that I subconsciously modeled him after VIN_CENT 🙂

Poor Alice. So much indignation. So much walking.
It’s the indignation that powers the walking.
I once knew someone who wanted to break up with her boyfriend. Well, she wanted to have broken up with him. So, to avoid the issue as much as possible, she took him on a walk. And this was in Salzburg Austria and so the walked involved a lot of climbing. And going down hill. And climbing again. In the end, she got the courage to end it and he was just happy to stop walking.
