On to Plan C.
Hmm, would this be Plan C from Unearth?
Yes. Unearth is a remake of Plan 9 from Outer Space. Good catch 😉
I have to wonder what those mechanics were thinking when they took that bribe money. Did they really expect to be able to spend it after riding on a machine that was thoroughly booby trapped?
Presumably the crew didn’t see the actual sabotage. They just saw Roddy sneaking around after the dirty deed was done and the tools disposed of.
…now toddle off and drill your drilling machine…
Quick! Go for the ladder! You can reach the control chamber and stop this madness that you initiated!
But if Roddy did that, wouldn’t that make the last ten pages pretty much pointless?
Methinks Roddy is about to find out first hand what his tinkering has caused (perhaps while trying to undo it).
Now we just have to get Alice on board and we’ll be ready to go go go!
‘Go go go’? More like: Week 1: Go, Week 2: go, Week 3: go.
What’s this ?! Roddy seems to be truly upset and worried about Charlie. Does he have a heart in there somewhere?
Roddy does have a heart. It’s just two sizes too small. With the help of some Whoville singing, I’m sure he’ll return all the Christmas presents.
Well, he can’t marry her if she’s dead, now can he?
No? I think I saw a guy marry a dead woman in a movie… maybe more than one movie. Kinda creepy, though. But, yes, for Roddy’s purposes, a corpse bride would be counter-productive.
He likes woem. He probably wouldn’t intentionally harm one. He hate his brother (likely in part because he see him as an obstacle to the things he wants) and would kill him in a heartbeat if he thought he’d get away with it. He care little for most other men and sees them as fodder.
I’m all for the cynical view of human nature… meaning Peter’s analysis has the ring of truth.
at least he can run faster with all that gold out of his boot….
What makes you think the other boot isn’t full of leprechaun gold as well? Now he’s probably running lopsided.
….ah now we know the real source of his cursing…
Aww he actually cares
