Isn’t it romantic how these two are talking. See the concerned faces as they discuss the safety of Alice’s sister, marvel at the stoicism of the butler.
What a lovely scene.
Or not.
Can’t help but notice that her sister is in an ideal position to bash their heads together.
Lovely head bashing? Would there be blood? And explosions! We need more explosions!

It appears that Philo can have some spine with Alice when it’s not just the two of them.
It appears he can rather more appreciate his duty to being English as well. Like the stance of outrage in panel 3.
I’m not sure showing some backbone will do him much good. But we’ll see 😉

At least she got them talking again. Not moving again, but taking again. Next comes standing, walking and basket-weaving, these things take time. 🙂
