That panoramic Two-Page Spread almost makes up for the lack of you-know-what. Almost.
Wait, didn’t your daughter already draw this scene for us, MLP-style? Does this mean that she has secret foreknowledge of what’s to come? Will pony-foreshadowing become a thing for this comic? Your daughter needs to get on this. The possibilities are endless!

Nowaydays the link is again broken …
(I read this comic some years ago (I think some parts of the prologue are new to me, on the other hand I recall it having arrived in the underworld shortly before going on a hiatus) and rediscovered it recently. I like the banter in the comments, and I’m looking foward to the „real“ chapters.)

I’ve got some exciting news on the MyLittlePony front: My daughter is currently obsessed with Barbie: Life In the Dreamhouse. What this means is that we may have to relocate Unearth from England to Malibu, CA, and the part of Philo will be played by Ken.
The 1820’s? I thought Napoleon was in the story line somewhere in the prequel.

Everything in the Prologue takes place in the past.
The prologue chapters with Mr. Dult and Her Highness take place in 1814.
The prologue with Farraux and Napoleon takes place in 1803.
The prologue chapters with the girls and Philo takes place shortly before the events of Chapter 1+.
Not everyone arrives in the underworld at the same time. But don’t worry, the storyline from here on will remain current.
I’m just wondering how that enormous flywheel is going to fit in the tunnel….

….and that would add play-value to the range of Unearth toys!
Any day now I expect McDonald’s to introduce the Unearth Happy Meal, which will include bobblehead versions of Alice, Charlie, and Napoleon Bonaparte.
Awesome! I’d totally take my kids to buy that. Now to have some kids…
