Awww… no horsey for the lizzard people?

  2. Admiral Halsey says:

Wow. I just now noticed the pun on the tombstone. I feel so stupid.

Even the horse looks a little disappointed.

    • mvandinter says:

He’s been waiting for 84 pages to finally have his moment of glory, only to be promptly jettisoned 🙁

        “I’m not dead yet!” – A Horse

        Ed8 says:

I assumed the disappointed look was because he thought he was going to finally get to see some dinosaurs and now his hopes are crushed. Even a horse knows that everything is better with dinosaurs.

    Luces says:

I can’t believe it. A miracle. Finally – the beginning!!!

    • mvandinter says:

Come back in a year and you’ll say the same thing about the end of Chapter 1 😉

Oh, and, Hi Luces! Welcome aboard.

      • Thorin Schmidt says:

Naw, there’s no way he can finish Chapter 1 in only 52 pages.
look at the prologue; it took 82.
        That’s a year and a half, roughly…

    wintermute says:

    Huzzah!

Also, that comment is too short, so I’ll have to add:

    Jolly good!

  6. crazyman says:

Dude, you’re going to lose that butler job if you keep this up. And after you worked so hard for it, too… 😀

  7. Dethwarm Dover says:

Marvelous pun on the Tombstone, and the entrance guarded by a Weeping Angel as well! Mwahahahaha!

  8. Aslandus says:

    The prologue’s over already? Madness!

    • mvandinter says:

Well, it’s not OVER over. There’s still a “Lost Prologue Chapter” (written, but never drawn)… Hmmm…

      • E
        Ed8 says:

As long as it is, the Prologue really needs its own Epilogue. An Epiprologue, I suppose. Should be no more than 20-25 pages, I think.

        • mvandinter says:

I’ll stop working on the graphic novel right away and get back to the Epiprologue!

          • w
            wintermute says:

That sounds better than the Prepilogue, or even the Preppy-logue (the ’80’s verstion).

            • w
              wintermute says:

And no, I have no idea what a verstion is.. A bastion of verisimilitude? A veritable superstition? No, probably just a typo.

              • mvandinter says:

I did a google search for “Verstion” and there are hundreds of hits where it is used instead of “Version”. Based on usage, it’s a real word 🙂

                • E
                  Ed8 says:

By that same token, “Epiprologue” and “Prepilogue” are entirely valid as well, though nary a hit for “Preppy-logue”. Wintermute has discovered a new word! Quick, patent it before the internet steals it!

GIVE HER A PREZTEL SHE LOVES PREZTELS

    • mvandinter says:

Anna stole that line from Cucumber Quest.
(Anna is my daughter, and she likes Cucumber Quest more than than Unearth)
