The dim lighting may be fooling my eyes, but is Napoleon’s adviser dressed in British Army crimson? Why, the treacherous dog!

    • mvandinter says:

I’m afraid it’s just the color palette, although the “treacherous dog” angle might have been fun.

  2. G
    Guesticus says:

Wait, Nappy is only a General? O_o

    • mvandinter says:

If this story had anything to do with historical accuracy, Nappy would be “First Consul” at this point… But thankfully this story is totally implausible… historically or otherwise.

  3. P
    Paul says:

Crossing the English Channel on foot.

Step 1. Send your army back in time 460,000 years.
    Step 2. Walk.
Step 3. Send your army forwards 460,000 years.

Potential complications: Those darn butterflies keep getting underfoot.

    • mvandinter says:

Trying to come up with an answer to that DOESN’T makes my head hurt 😉

    • G
      Guesticus says:

Actually, the Channel isn’t that deep, there is one place (the narrowest) where if you dropped Saint Paul’s Cathedral you would still see the dome at least

It’s not the depth (or lack thereof) that is the problem, but the current

      • mvandinter says:

So, what you’re saying is that if Napoleon grew to Godzilla-size, he could easily wade across the channel?

        • P
          Paul says:

If Napoleon grew to Godzilla size he would be free of his size-based insecurities and retires to a tropical island in peace.

  4. B
    BMunro says:

Freeze ray, of course. Big freeze ray.

(Obviously an alternate Napoleon: our Napoleon may have been a ruthless conqueror willing to spend the lives of his men like water, but he generally wasn’t in the habit of shooting annoying people in his drawing room. 🙂 )

  5. Aslandus says:

It’s a giant cannon to shoot soldiers across the channel!

  6. “unclick”… XD
