    “sídhe” : Irish for “of the fairy mound”, meaning the hills or tumuli that dot the Irish landscape, in many cases ancient burial mounds

    My first thought was that these ‘poachers’ must be good guys if they are speaking English. Then I thought back to the very start of the story and who this queen might be, and now I’m not so sure.
