  1. Sturzkampf says:

Iron saucepan and stone axe? The plot thickens.

    • E
      Erik Van Thienen says:

      … and a reasonable haircut!

    • mvandinter says:

Presumably, the sauce would also thicken.

    • mvandinter says:

Now that you mention it, it does appear he’s been using hair gel as well.

      • N
        Number 6 says:

Hmmmm…a saucepan…and a hairdresser at work….clearly there is only one possible logical conclusion from that evidence: There are Frenchmen about! Perhaps even a veritable “army” of them! 😮

Of course, how could that be possible? This is deep underground, a time capsule untouched since times prehistoric, is it not?! If only there were some sort of “Prologue” that might elucidate this confounding mystery! Alas, such a wondrous thing is nowhere to be found. 🙁

        • mvandinter says:

NOT TRUE! Pledge $5 on Unearth’s Patreon, and you’ll receive a print copy of that very Prologue (96pages, full-color), wherein you will discover just how very snarky Number 6’s comment really is! 😉

  2. W
    Wyvern says:

Looks like he’s ringing the dinner bell. So who’s on the menu – Philo or the giant lizard?

  3. U
    Uhl says:

I’m guessing the dino is his pet, and that’s the “come home” signal.

  4. Thorin Schmidt says:

HA! Called it! Plumber boy! I’ll admit I was being sarcastic when I said it on the last page, but i still claim “Called it”

    • mvandinter says:

Plumber? Tisk tisk. I’ll have you know he’s a Caveman Saucier! (note the saucepan).

      • Thorin Schmidt says:

Not until he pulls up his pants a bit… restaurants have dress codes after all. And really, i think number 6’s comments have been more saucy than snarky as of late. Especially on this page.

  5. tyersome says:

I admire that he was going to defend himself in a spearated manner, but I feel like we’ve learned something important about Philo — banging on in loud and annoying fashion drives him up the wall … little wonder he and Alice get along so well!

  6. F
    Frank says:

    That’s clever.

How’d they get an iron saucepan?
