    Woo Hoo! New wallpaper!

  2. L
    Luces says:

    Yesss! Steampunk!!!
Those vertical ladders… What a perfect way of indicating a slight re-direction!

    • mvandinter says:

To the charge of Steampunk, I plead No Contest. In my defense, Your Honor, I didn’t realize I was committing a fashion crime.

  3. Petaybee says:

Why are there no messy bodies? Because a proper butler is always one step ahead.

    • mvandinter says:

Blood and guts aren’t really on the menu. Sex and nudity on the other hand…

        wintermute says:

Wait, what?! Did I miss something? Let me see that menu (peers down the menu)…

I’ll have the Lunch Combo B, please, hold the blood and guts.

      • Thorin Schmidt says:

I think that if the author were to try and expose Alice’s nudity, it would be a near certainty that she would reach up out of the comic and throttle him…

          Number 6 says:

Did you see the scandalous abmount of leg Alice is showing in Chapt 2 pg 48?! By the standards of the time, that should definitely count.

      • Y
        Yakumo says:

Likely in that order. Victorian clothing and all. Too bothersome to shuck all of it. It makes it simpler to arrange for business to be done and proceed.

    • mvandinter says:

Yeah, well, you caught me. In truth, there’s no blood, guts, sex, or nudity. There is, however, the occasional use of a mild expletive.

  4. w
    wintermute says:

Good Show! Carry on, then! Never mind about that broken arm, get back to work!

    • N
      Number 6 says:

Broken arm, 3 broken ribs, internal bleeding, and severe concussion.
OK, have some tea, then get back to work. Or since this is a “ship”, maybe I should say have some rum and then get back to work?

    • mvandinter says:

Stiff upper lip and all that.

    • Y
      Yakumo says:

In fairness, Philo is quite nice. Any other captain would likely tell him to get back to work rather than let him “carry on” at rest where he is.

  5. N
    Number 6 says:

Now we know what you did during that 6 month hiatus – it took the entire time to draw that interior ship schematic!

  6. Y
    Yakumo says:

As to the next line in the comic, “well, if trolls are faeries, I have no choice. As for clapping my hands, only to clap them around one particular troll’s neck until no amount of any other sort of clapping will bring him back.”

  7. Aslandus says:

Clearly they malfunction caused the entire drill to turn around and drill back up to England
