Shades of Star Trek or even Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. At least once per episode The “ship” is hit or monster grabbed. Decks tilt and shake. Characters tumble about. Is there even a chance of an anime style embarrassing face plant? Tune in next time Unearth fans!

I love the chairs on the bridge of the old Star Trek: They were like dining room swivel chairs that weren’t attached ground. Yet when an attack came and the crew got thrown on the ground or up against walls, the chairs didn’t budge.

naww….I think they used Velcro… cuz, y’know the Vulcans invented it, and Mr. Spock insisted.

They used all their budget on a plan to secure the chairs to the floor, and didn’t have any left over for *seatbelts* to keep critical crew members from being killed or horribly injured in emergencies. Not that anyone ever actually got hurt from being violently hurled around a cabin full of angular hard metal consoles and railings. I see our driller crew is using the same plan.

I’m not sure Godfrey can physicallt do that. But he might enjoy being Godfish.

  2. Thorin Schmidt says:

So THAT’s where they keep the Chibi Driller!

I think that will be the name of my new band:

    GODFISH

  4. Thorin Schmidt says:

Oh, and as far as Godfish goes, I think that’s been done already.

You’re doing it wrong! You’re supposed to raise your arms into the air and shout “WHOOO!!!!” as you plummet, just like a roller coaster!

It seems like they’re about to tumble end over end rather than just fall directly down – in which case holding your hands up is just going to get your arms broken when you get bounced back and forth from ceiling to floor to ceiling.
In fact, I’m rather concerned about Lieutenant Captain’s position holding onto the door there. He’ll be fine if “down” becomes to our right, but if it becomes “down” in the direction of that door he may get his arm crushed. I guess I shouldn’t expect better from a guy who can’t identify a clock.
