I just achieved the life-long goal of having a reason to use the term “poison dagger”.
Something tells me Godfrey is one of the few people able to withstand her eye arrow attack.
What will you do now that your bucket list is complete?
Well, besides “poison dagger” I also have an eye out for the opportunity to use “Et tu, Brute?” and “You don’t need a license to drive a sandwich.”
whoops… that wasn’t supposed to be a reply.
It still kinda works, finding someone who can withstand her eye-arrows could be on their bucket list…
Seems everyone else sees their relationship in a different light than they do…
Aslandus, your comment applies to every male-female relationship that has or ever will exist 😉
He was hoping to make a quick getaway before she found out. But what was his plan upon returning from his voyage?
I think he was hoping to die on the voyage.
Who said he was planning to return?
Like I said…
(I didn’t specify when he hoped to die)
Now, Alice will HAVE to go, just to ensure he comes back alive so SHE can kill poor Philo…. well-played author…. well-played…
oh, and BTW, love the Reverend’s name. Playfair, indeed….
I’ll award 3 Huzzahs to anyone who knows where I stole the name from 🙂
I’ll tell you, if you like, but quietly, man…..
I had to google it, pilgrim. But I won’t spoil it for anyone, don’t want to get in a fight 😉
Well, you guys kept your answers cryptic, but you both deserve one of the 3 available Huzzahs:
So that’s one HUZZAH! for Thorin Schmidt
and another HUZZAH! for wintermute
That leaves one Huzzah unspent 🙂
Are there shields enough to hide the answer to this identity? One would need a light weight clue to slip past this riddle.
And if “Are there shields…” is too “light weight” to champion my cause for the last HUZZAH!, then perhaps if you play fair you’ll at least recognize a trooper when you’ve seen one, thorn and all.
HUZZAH!, Good Sir Thomas, and well deserved!
